At the University of Georgia, I am proud to say that I have the abilities and resources to explore all creative outlets of myself, one of those being ASMR. Autonomous sensory meridian response is a perceptual sensory phenomenon that is a result of exposure to audio and/or a combination of visual stimuli that can give a person "tingles" from the base of their head, down their spine, and outward to the limbs. It also relaxes and calms the mind.

I have used ASMR as a sleeping aid since 2015/2016, so it has been a part of my life for a pretty long time. I am a consumer, and for the past three semesters I have been able to be a producer of ASMR as well. On 90.5 fm, I have a 30 minute segmented radio show that explores ASMR bringing awareness and establishing  a community that not only enjoys this type of content but can grow too and know that there are others who subscribe to this sort of thing.

My show is called Whisper Wednesdays, and for one semester was called ASMondayR.
